Mrs. Wilma Fox age 92, of Boaz, Alabama, died Friday, August 20, 2016.
Graveside service will be held Sunday, August 20, 2016 at 3:00 pm at Hillcrest Cemetery in Boaz, Alabama with Bro. Tommy Fox officiating. Family will receive friends the day of the service from 1:00 to 2:00 at the funeral home. McRae Funeral Home is directing.
Mrs. Fox was born in Georgia on August 30, 1923 to George David and Ela Cochran Whiting. She was a dedicated wife, mother, and homemaker.
Mrs. Fox is survived by sons & daughters-in-law David Fox, Jim & Christine May, and Gary & Tammy Fox; daughters & son-in-law Jan & Bo Newsome and Susan Butler; grandchildren Katie & Marty Bush, Kelly & Ron Woods, Doug May, Melissa & David Peirano, Heather Thompson, Gina & Toby Simpson, Krista & Jason Preston, Roger Newsome, Crista Newsome, Christopher Newsome, Emily & John Murphree, Hannah & Eric Lawman, Valerie Hackworth, Jennifer Rogers, Stefanie & Jason Carter, Sarah & Kyle Gilliland, Becca Fox; 16 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband Emory Fox,four brothers, and a sister.
Family requests in lieu of flowers donations to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
