Mr. William E. "Bill" Turcott age 89, of Mt, Vernon Homes, Boaz, Alabama, died Tuesday, July 5, 2016.
Service will be held Friday, July 8, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of McRae Funeral Home with Bro. Jonathan Minyard officiating. Interment will follow in the Carnes Chapel Cemetery. McRae Funeral Home, Boaz is directing. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until funeral time.
Mr. Turcott was born in Canton, New York on Feb. 25, 1927 to William J. & Gertrude Fisher Turcott. He was a proud WWII Army Veteran, an Ordained Methodist Minister and a retired truck driver.
Mr. Turcott is survived by his Wife of 32 years: Vera Walker Turcott of Boaz, Step-Sons & Daughters-in-Law: Wayne & Brenda Hubbard of Albertville, Charles & Regina Hubbard of Attalla and Jackie & Tina Hubbard of Pinson, Step-Daughter & Son-in-Law: Janice & James Chamblee of Anniston, many step- Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren, Brother: Wendall Turcott of North Carolina, Sisters: Vita Smith and Julie Cole both of New York, and numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Daniel Hubbard, Tony Bentley, Gary Simmons, Lelyn Walker, Chad Hubbard, Roland Walker and Gene Cross.
