Wanda Reed

Mrs. Wanda Reed, age 80 of Boaz, Alabama, died on Sunday, June 19, 2022, at her residence.

Funeral service will be held at ten o’clock am on Saturday, June 25, 2022, at the McRae Chapel with Bro. Mike Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in the Memory Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday evening from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the funeral home.

Mrs. Reed was born in Alabama on September 21, 1941, to Obie & Marie Duke Gilbreath.

Mrs. Reed is survived by her Daughters & Sons-in-Law: Jimmie & William Claxton of Georgia, Jennifer & Ricky Taunton of Boaz. Son & Daughter-in-Law: James & Debby Reed of Texas. Son-in-Law: Craig Davis of Albertville. Grandchildren: Heather Davis Rosmus, Craig Davis, Jr., Zachary & Katie Claxton, Courtney & Matt Reis, Trey & Jane Reed, Taylor & Andrew Jones, Kensley & Jonathan Plunkett. Great Grandchildren: Keeley Rosmus, Gabryel Rosmus, Braydon Rosmus, Carsyn Rosmus, Reed Claxton, Reagan Reis. Expectant Great Grandchildren: Ridge Claxton, James Kenneth Reed IV.

Chosen Sons & Daughters-in-Law: Ricky & Kita Lang, Buster & Karen Land.

Special Friends: Janet Woodham, Shelby Elrod, Wanda Mann, Cynthia Morton.

Mrs. Reed was preceded in death by her Mother: Marie Gilbreath. Husband: Kenneth Reed. Daughter: Jamie Davis.

Pallbearers will be Craig Davis, Jr., Zachary Claxton, Andrew Jones, Jonathan Plunkett, Shane Lackey, Dr. Alex Pope.
