Mrs. Virginia Darnell, 73 of McVille Road, Boaz, died Thursday, April 7, 2016 at her residence. Funeral service will be Sunday, April 10, 2016; Three o'clock p.m. at McRae Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Aaron Johnson officiating and Eulogy by Jill Arrington. McRae Funeral Home, Boaz is in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be Saturday 6 - 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. Darnell was born in Alabama on August 4, 1942 to Casey & Ada Griffin Stephens. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Darnell is survived by her Husband: Wendell Darnell of Boaz, Daughter: Beth Darnell of Boaz, Grandchildren: Nathan & Brittany Burgett, Casey & Hope Underwood, Kate Darnell and Jesse Darnell, Great Grandchildren: Avah Underwood, Bayley Burgett and Liam Burgett. She was preceded in death by her parents and a Son: Jeff Darnell and Daughter: Kim Kile.
Honorary Pallbearers will be her Grandsons: Nathan Burgett, Casey Underwood and Jesse Darnell.
