Verndale Ingram Bolton

Mrs. Verndale Ingram Bolton, age 80, of Albertville, Alabama, died Tuesday, September 2, 2025.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 5, 2025, at two o’clock pm at the McRae Funeral Home Chapel with Dustin Brock, Tony Simmons, and David Gilbert officiating. Visitation will be Friday, September 5, 2025, from Noon until service time at the funeral home.

Mrs. Bolton was born in Crossville, Alabama on November 1, 1944, to Arnold & Agnes Lorene Hooper Ingram. She retired from AT&T as a systems designer.

Mrs. Bolton is survived by her Son: Kevin & Robin Bolton of Alabaster, Daughter: Janae Granger of Boaz, Grandchildren: Thomas James Bolton, Dustin & Jessica Bolton, Meagan Granger, Christopher Granger, Jarreth Granger, Nova Bolton, Josh Townsend, and Zach Townsend, Several Great Grandchildren, Sisters: Venita & Al Praitano of Guntersville and Lenora & Scotty Edmondson of Aroney, Special Friend: Gene Ponder and several Nieces and Nephews. She was preceded by her parents: Arnold & Lorene Ingram, Husband: James Weldon Bolton, Son: Kyle Dion Bolton and Sisters: Karon Ingram Owens, and Cheryle Wynell Ingram.

Pallbearers will be Dustin Bolton, Zach Townsend, Trey Spiller, Dustin Brock, Johnny Hale, and Floyd Hooper. Honorary Pallbearers will be Josh Townsend, Gene Ponder, Fred Gielle, Gary Worley, and Bryan Miller.

The family will accept flowers or suggests donations to Child Haven Children’s Home.
