Mr. Thomas "T.A." Cook, Jr., Age: 87 of Snellgrove Ave., Boaz, Alabama died March 6, 2011 at his residence.
Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 8, 2011, at Springdale Baptist Church with Bro. J. P. Rowan and Bro. Ray Duvall officiating. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. McRae Funeral Home, Boaz, is in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Cook was born in Alabama on July 25, 1923 to Thomas A. & Estie Brock. He was a United States Army Veteran serving during WWII. He retired from Republic Steel.
Mr. Cook is survived by his Sons & Daughters-in-Law: David & Kathy Cook and Randall & Pat Cook all of Boaz, Daughter & Son-in-Law: Sandra & Rod Gulling of Boaz 6 Grandchildren, 12 Great Grandchildren, Brother: A. F. Cook of Boaz, Special Nephew & his Wife: Jim & Nicole Cook, Special Friends: George & Sue Hibbs. Mr. Cook was preceded in death by his parents, Wife: Lorene Cook and Great Granddaughter: Sidney Grizzard.
Pallbearers will be Ronnie Cook, Chad Cook, Trea Herron, Buddy Brewer, Chris Cooper and Matthew Cook. Honorary Pallbearers will be all Great Grandchildren.
