Theresa Lynn Newman

Mrs. Theresa Lynn Newman, age 70, of Sardis, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, January 9, 2026, at UAB Medical Center.

A graveside service will be held at 2 o’clock pm on Saturday, January 17, 2026, in the Bethlehem Cemetery with Bro. Wayne White officiating. There will not be a formal visitation.

Mrs. Newman was born in Austin, Texas, on March 4, 1955, to Herman & Edna Williams.

Mrs. Newman is survived by her Daughters: Sabrina Williams of Albertville and Stephania Newman of Maryland, Grandchildren: Isaac Williams, Siidnee Thomas, Caleb Williams, John Class, Benjamin Williams, and Sara Class, Great Grandchildren: Elijah Banks, Emiline Ruth Williams, Magnolia Yulane Williams, Allen Class, Koa Ezekial Williams, and Levi Class. She was preceded in death by her parents: Herman & Edna Williams and Husband: William David Newman, II.
