Shirley Johnson

Mrs.  Shirley H. Johnson, age 83, of Broadwell Road, Sardis City, Alabama died on Sunday, July 29, 2018 at Marshall Medical Center South.

Funeral service will be held at Two o’clock p.m. on Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at McRae Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Mike Goforth will be officiating.  Burial will follow in the Sardis Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday from noon until service time at the funeral home.

Mrs. Johnson was born in Alabama on July 21, 1935 to Homer L. & Maudie Garmon Hedgepeth. She was a retired from South Trust Bank.

Mrs. Johnson is survived by her Daughter & Son-in-Law: Angela & Homer Campbell of Sardis City, Grandchildren: Katie & Kole Dogan, C. J. Campbell, Kyle Campbell, Justin Campbell, Great Grandchildren: Kade Dogan and Kanon Dogan, Sisters & Brother-in-Law: Doris Brock of Sardis City, Shelby & Fred Steward of Boaz and Elouise Lee of Gadsden. She was preceded in death by her husband: Louie Doyle Johnson and Parents: Homer & Maudie Hedgepeth.

Pallbearers will be Justin Campbell, C. J. Campbell, Kyle Campbell, Marty Brock, Chris Lee and Chris Battles.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to Sardis Baptist Church, 1501 Church Street, Boaz, AL 35956.
