Special thanks to the Floyd E. “Tut” Fann State Veterans Home for such loving care these past months and the Hospice Care Nurse, Shelba Bates and staff. She was amazing. The G Wing staff at TUT and Nurse Cindy who always went above and beyond. When he was showing off all imaginary churches while looking out his window he was asked if he still prayed to Jesus. His answer was, oh yeah I do, he’s my commander!!
Pallbearers will be Gregory Crane, Kerry Bethune, Bradley Bethune, Camron Bethune, Mike Bethune, and Clint Jolley. Honorary pallbearers will be his grandson, Will Bethune and the Clear Creek Golfing friends and the Mitchell Grocery Truckers.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to a charity of choice or the Alzheimer's Association, Wounded Warriors, Tunnel To Towers or Chapel Hill Baptist Church in Albertville. He was a simple man with a loving heart who loved helping others in need.
