Ruth Ballentine

Mrs. Ruth Ballentine, age 85 of Albertville Alabama, died on Tuesday, December 24, 2024, at Shepherd’s Cove Hospice.

 Graveside service will be held at two o’clock pm on Friday, December 27, 2024, in Hillcrest Cemetery with Bro. Jamie Perigo officiating. Visitation will be on Friday from noon until 1:30 pm at the funeral home.

 Mrs. Ballentine was born in Alabama on August 12, 1939, to James & Zilla Kight Spurgeon. She was a retired school bus driver.

 Mrs. Ballentine is survived by her Sons & Daughters-in-Law: Bobby & Rhonda Ballentine and Michael & Michelle Ballentine all of Boaz, Brian Ballentine of Albertville, 6 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren

Brother: James Spurgeon of Albertville and Sisters: Judy Lowery of Albertville and Becky Culbert of Boaz. She was preceded in death by her Parents: James & Zilla Spurgeon, and Husband: Dan Ballentine.

 The pallbearers will be Jared Ballentine, Dakota Ballentine, Van Ballentine, Craig Ballentine, Dale Lowery, and Scott Culbert.
