Ruby Jane Childers

Ms. Ruby Jane Childers, age 61, of Boaz, Alabama, died on Friday, 21, 2025, at her residence. 

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at 2:00 pm at the McRae Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Nick Mitchell and Bro. Johnny Bennefield officiating. Interment will follow in the Concord Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Monday evening, February 24, 2025, from 6:00 pm until 8:00pm at the funeral home.

 Ms. Childers was born in Alabama on January 23, 1964, to James Edward & Hettie Florine Qualls Childers. She was a heavy equipment traffic escort. 

 Ms. Childers is survived by her Son: Dustin & Amber Phillips of Boaz, 

Daughter: Andrea & Brian Cahela of Boaz, Grandchildren: Dillon Cahela, Haylee Cahela, Axton Albright, and Laila River Phillips, Brother: Tom & Candi Childers of Lincoln, Sisters: Patricia & Tommy Gortney of Geraldine, Gail Hollis of Cullman, Nola & Tim Wilson of Weaver, and Tracy & David Bartz of North Carolina, Chosen brother & sister: Mark & Connie Hughes of Pell City, and a Host of Nieces and Nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents: James E. & Florine Q. Childers, Brother-in-Law: David Hollis, and Sister: Goldie Hollis. 

 Pallbearers will be Eugene Oliver, Chris Wilson, Brad Garmon, Nathan Lambert, James Barksdale, and Robert Tipton.
