Mr. Robert Edwin "Bobby" Turner, 79, of Mt. Hebron Road, Boaz, died Friday, March 25, 2011, at Shepherd's Cove.
Service were held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 27, 2011 at McRae Funeral Home with Bro. George Garner, Bro. Shane Ross, Bro. George Ray Garner and Bro. Gary Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Friendship Cemetery. McRae Funeral Home of Boaz directing.
Mr. Turner was born in Marshall County, Alabama on July 25, 1931 to Palmer T. & Jewel Miller Turner. He was farmer and a commercial egg producer for many years. He was a devoted member of Friendship Baptist Church.
Mr. Turner is survived by his Son & Daughter-in-Law: Robert Ricky & Janice Turner of Boaz, Daughter 7 Son-in-Law: Myra & Phillip LeMaster of Boaz, Grandchildren: Amy & Nick Spahos, April Turner, Morgan LeMaster & Tyler LeMaster, Great Granddaughter: Kyleigh Jewel LeMaster, Sister & Brother-in-Law: Doris & Justin Garrett of Albertville. He was preceded in death by his Parents, and Daughters: Althea Turner & Brenda Turner.
Pallbearers were Brandon Collier, Shane Galloway, David Garrett, Timmy Parrish, Gordon Tinsley and Timmy Vasser. Honorary Pallbearers were Charles Gilliland, Tim Parrish and Dwight Teal.
