Robert Boland

Mr. Robert E. Boland, age 76, of 600 Corley Avenue, Boaz, died Wednesday, December 22, 2016 at Marshall Medical Center South.

Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 23, 2016 at the McRae Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow Nixon's Chapel Cemetery. Bro. H.V. McDowell will be officiating. Family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at funeral home. McRae Funeral Home is directing.

Mr. Boalnd is survived his sons Bill Boland of Albertville, David Boland of Fyffe, Robert Boland of Sylvania; daughters Barbara Roden of Geraldine, Shirley Hufstedler of Geraldine, Becky Thomas of Rainsville, Charlotte Bryant of Rainsville, and Cathy Boland of Ft. Payne; 16 Grandchildren; 16 Great-Grandchildren; brother Carlee & Ruth Boland of Boaz, Willie D. & Edna Boland of Boaz; and sister Bernice Peppers of Boaz. Mr. Boland is preceded in death by his son Danny Boland.

Pallbearers will be Clint Smith, Colby Smith, Donny Peppers, Riley Peppers, Lynn Braswell, and Junior McDowell.

The family requests in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the funeral service.
