Rita Young

Rita Gail Young, age 78, of Boaz, Alabama died November 4, 2019, at her residence.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, November 6, 2019 at Two o'clock p.m. at Pleasant Hill#1 Baptist Church with Bro. Bruce Campbell, Bro. Joey Bowman and Bro. Jim Kilpatrick officiating. Interment will follow in the adjoining cemetery The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 6 until 8 at the funeral home.

Mrs. Young was born in Alabama on July 9, 1941, to Henry and Opal Haynie Pullen. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and aunt.

She is survived by her Husband: Billy Ray Young of Boaz, Alabama, Sons & Daughters-in-Law: Ricky & Phylis Young of Boaz and Mike & Ginger Young of Southside, Grandchildren: Brooke Young Bishop and Dennis, Meghan Young, Blake Young and Austin Young, Great Grandchildren: Drake Bishop, Sophie Bishop and Ella Brooke Callaway,  Sisters and Brothers-in-Law: Joan & Jim Kilpatrick, Peggy & Ray Alexander all of Boaz, Brother & Sister-in-Law: Bobby & Shirley Jean Pullen of Boaz, Sister-in-Law: Joyce (Gene) Hines of Gadsden. She was preceded in death by her Parents: Henry & Opal Pullen, Sisters: Shirley Holcomb and Helen Haynes.

Pallbearers will be Dennis Bishop, Brian Pullen, Philip Alexander, Chad Kilpatrick, Marty Haynes, Gary Holcomb. Honorary Pallbearers will be Blake Young and Austin Young.
