Rev. Bobby Walden, 78, of Richmond Ave, Albertville, Alabama, died Tuesday, Aug. 4, 2015 at his residence.
Service will be Friday, Aug. 7, 2015, two o'clock p.m. at McRae Chapel. Rev. Don Self and Rev. Kenneth Gillilan will be officiating. Entombment will be in the Memory Hill Cemetery. McRae Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be Thursday evening from 6 - 8 at the funeral home.
Bro. Walden was born March 7, 1937 Joe Burley & Lucille Holcomb Walden. He worked as a doffer for the cotton mill and also at Walmart. Rev. Walden is survived by his Wife of 55 years: Myra Hatley Walden of Albertville, Sons & Daughters-in-Law: Travis & Pam Walden of Albertville and David Nadiah Walden of North Port, Daughter & Son-in-Law: Arlene & Tim Parker of Boaz, 7 Grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, Sister: Dorothy Johnson of Florida and a half-brother: Joe Burley Walden, Jr. and Mary. He was preceded in death by his Parents, and an infant son: Andrew Walden.
Pallbearers will be Gary Luther, Lee Price, Christopher Marshall, Will Roden, Earnest Skaggs and Bobby Champion. Honorary Pallbearers will Ethan Walden and Ian Walden.
