Rev. Jerry Butler, age 86 of Boaz, Alabama, died on Sunday, November 27, 2022 at Albertville Health & Rehab

Funeral service will be held at One o’clock pm on Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at McRae Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. David Martin officiating. Interment will follow in the Hillcrest Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 11:30 am until 1:00 pm at the funeral home.

Rev. Butler was born in Alabama on January 6, 1936, to Vernon & Vivian Alexander Butler. He was a retired Baptist minister.

Rev. Butler is survived by his Sons & Daughter-in-Law: Jeff & Carol Butler of Leeds, Jonathan Butler of Sylacauga. Grandsons: Joshua & Robin Butler and William Thomas & Erica Butler. Great Granddaughter: Adalynn Blanchard-Butler. Brothers: Calvin Butler of Springville, Benny Butler of Springville, Dwight Butler of Prattville, Gene Butler of Tennessee, Mark Butler of Cleveland. Sisters: Debbie Cornelius of Cleveland, Sandra Cook of Susan Moore.

Rev. Butler was preceded in death by his Parents: Vernon & Vivian Butler. Wife: Janet Taylor Butler. Brothers: Wayne Butler and Johnny Butler.

Pallbearers will be Friends & Family.
