Mr. Ray Hawkins, 66, of Strange Road, Boaz, Alabama, died Saturday, February 27, 2016 at Huntsville Hospital.
Funeral service will be Tuesday, March 1, 2016, Noon at McRae Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Freddy Keener and Bro. Shannon Pullen will be officiating. McRae Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be Tuesday from 10:30 o'clock a.m. until funeral time at the funeral home.
Mr. Hawkins was born in Alabama on January 9, 1950 to Dennis & Verdia Stewart Hawkins. He was a retired inspector with an automobile manufacturer.
Mr. Hawkins is survived by his Companion: Sue Hawkins of Hartselle, Brothers & Sisters-in-Law: John & Barbara Hawkins of Decatur, David Michael & Mary Hawkins of Douglas and Phillip & Debbie Hawkins of Attalla, Sister & Brother-in-Law: Jan & Tom Burgess of Boaz, Step-Children: Stephanie Suggs of Hartselle and James Garrison of Cullman, Step- Grandchildren: Caleb Suggs, Haillee Suggs, Jennifer Cobbs and Adam Garrison, and Great Grandson: Kaleb Cobbs
Pallbearers will be Larry Lasseter, Rodney Harp, Kevin Hawkins, Ethan Simpson, Joe McKaig, and Lowell Brothers.
