Phillp "P.G." Stephens

Mr. Phillip “P. G.” Stephens, age 80, of Boaz, Alabama died on Monday, September 7, 2026, at Marshall Medical Center South.

A funeral service will be held at two o’clock pm on Friday, September 11, 2026, in the McRae Chapel with Bro. Chuck Knight, Jeri Manasco and Doyle Parker officiating with Eulogy by Phillip Connor Dingler. Interment will follow in the Hillcrest Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, September 10, 2026, from 6 o’clock pm until 8 o’clock pm at the funeral home.

Mr. Stephens was born in Alabama on September 27, 1945, to Ralph & Mary Nichols Stephens. He was retired from Goodyear.

Mr. Stephens is survived by his wife: Patricia Cofield Stephens of Boaz, Daughter: Kristin & Eric Speight of Boaz, Grandson: Phillip Connor Dingler, Sisters: Brenda Lowery of Florida, Sara Graves and Susan Ikard both of Huntsville, Special Friends: Gary & Diann Walls. He was preceded in death by his Parents: Rev. Ralph & Mary Stephens, Daughter: Mary Elizabeth Stephens and Brother: Lowell Stephens.

Pallbearers will be Kelley Springfield, Jeff Beck, Brian Selvage, Tony Cofield, Terry Cofield, and Chad Seay. Honorary Pallbearers will be Frog Lester, Mike Matthews, Gary Walls, and Mason Myatt.
