Oscar "Chip" Arnold III

Mr. Oscar “Chip” Arnold III, age 62, of Altoona, Alabama died on Monday, July 20, 2026, at Shepherd’s Cove Hospice.

A graveside service will be held at 4:00 o’clock pm on Monday, July 27, 2026, at the Lang-Sampson Cemetery. There will not be a formal visitation.

Mr. Arnold was born in Alabama on August 24, 1963, to Shirley Green Arnold and Oscar Vernon Arnold, II. He was a retired truck driver.

Mr. Arnold is survived by his Wife: Dena Phillips of Altoona, Son: David & Amanda Arnold of Boaz, Grandchildren: Wesley Arnold, Luke Arnold, and Sloan Arnold, Brothers: Thomas Arnold of Altoona and Steven Arnold of Florida, Sisters: Susan Seay of Georgia and Charlotte Wilks of Birmingham. Mr. Arnold was preceded in death by his Parents: O.V. & Shirley Arnold.
