Mrs. Myra Chamblee Greene, 66, of Goble Road, Boaz, Alabama, died Saturday, June 11, 2016 at Shepherd's Cove.
Service will be held at Two o'clock p.m. Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at New Home Baptist Church with interment to follow in the adjoining Cemetery. Bro. Roger White and Bro. Brad Smothers will be officiating. McRae Funeral Home of Boaz in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 6 until 8 at the Funeral Home
Mrs. Greene was born in Alabama on Oct. 9, 1949 to F. B. "Slim" & Mauzell Plunkett Chamblee. She was a retired school teacher.
Mrs. Greene is survived by her husband: Danny Greene of Boaz, Sons: Chris Greene and Steven Greene both of Boaz, Grandchildren: Cierra Greene and Wyatt Greene, Sister: Marsha Chamblee, Niece: Kirsten Carter, Great Nephew & Niece: Kane Woodham and Harley Woodham, She was preceded in death by her Parents: F. B. "Slim" & Mauzell Chamblee and Nephew: Freddy England.
Pallbearers will be Jason Bouldin, Jerry Breedwell, Ryan Smothers, Wayne Humphries, Addison Dismuke and Jeremy Short. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to New Home Baptist Church, 180 Co Rd 433, Crossville, AL 35962.
