Mr. Millard Arrington, 88, of Arrington Drive Boaz, Alabama, died Saturday, Jan. 17, 2015, at his residence.
Service will be Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2015, two o'clock p.m. at First Baptist Church Boaz, interment will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. Bro. Don Reece and Bro. Aaron Johnson will be officiating. McRae Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be Monday from 5 - 8 at the funeral home.
Mr. Arrington was born in Dekalb County, Alabama on De. 7, 1926 to Millard & Eva Stiefel Arrington. He was a retired postal worker.
Mr. Arrington is survived by his Wife: Sarah Roden Arrington of Boaz, Sons & Daughters-in-Law: Stephen & Becky Arrington of Boaz, Gerald & Dianne Arrington of Kimberly, Glenn Arrington of Boaz and Neal & Jill Arrington of Boaz, Daughter & Son-in-Law: Nita & Philip Maddox of Huntsville, 14 Grandchildren and 10 Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his Parents and a Son: David Arrington.
Pallbearers will be Justin Arrington, Andrew Arrington Maddox, Justin James, Jonathan Arrington, Jeremiah Arrington and Billy Tolbert. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jimmy Ray Sunday School Class of First Baptist Church Boaz.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to First Baptist Church Boaz.
