Mrs. Mildred "Mickey" Thomas, age 80 of Byron Ave., Boaz, Alabama died Sunday, June 16, 2013 at Marshall Medical Center South.
Funeral service will be Tuesday, June 18, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church Boaz, with Bro. Ben Edmondson, Bro. Keith Dodd, Bro. Jonathan Lancaster and Tommy Pierce officiating, interment to follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery. McRae Funeral Home of Boaz, Alabama is in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Thomas was born Jan. 28, 1933 to B. F. & Mollie Stewart Blackmon.
Mrs. Thomas is survived by her Daughters and Sons-in-Law: Becky & Ricky Ray and Jan & Roger Seay both of Boaz. Chosen Daughter and son-in-Law: Cathy & Randall Morton of Boaz. Granddaughter and Grandson-in-Law: Juddie & Josh Walker. Step Grandson: Corey Ray. Great Grandchildren: Grayce & Thomas Walker. Mrs. Thomas was preceded in death by Parents: B.F. & Mollie Blackmon. Husband: U.L. "Red" Thomas. Son: Ricky Leon Thomas.
Pallbearers will be Tim Thomas, Marty Leeth, Joel Giles, Mike Bradberry, Randal Morton, Jeff Scott.
