Mrs. Mildred Glassco Gray Grimes, age 103 of Boaz, died on Saturday, April 15, 2023, at Albertville Health & Rehab.

Funeral service will be Two o’clock p.m. Monday, April 17, 2023, at McRae Chapel with Bro. Morris Stephens & Bro. Brent Roe officiating. Burial to follow in Beulah Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 12;00pm-2:00pm

Mrs. Grimes was born in Alabama on March 18, 1920, to Henry Grover & Myrtice Akridge Mitchell

Mrs. Grimes is survived by Son & Daughter-in-Law: Lewis & Sue Glassco of Boaz. Daughter & Son-in-Law: Dr. Jessie Lanett & Mark Varnell of Tennessee. 7 Grandchildren, 11 Great Grandchildren & 7 Great-Great Grandchildren.

Mrs. Grimes was preceded in death by her Parents: Henry Grover & Myrtice Mitchell. Husbands: Monroe Alexander Glassco, Jesse Cecil Gray & Clyde Grimes. Brothers: Ellis Mitchell, Travis Mitchell. Sisters: Arnis Poole, Virginia Duke.

Pallbearers will be Michael Glassco, David Glassco, Roger Whitehead, Milton Sutton, Logan Whitehead, Alex Sutton.
