Mr. Mike Carroll, age 56, of Thornhill Road, Boaz, Alabama died Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2011, in Alexander City.
Funeral service was Thursday, Dec. 22, 2011, at 2:00 p.m. at New Life Christian Center, with Dr. Harry Whitt & Bro. Kenny Gilbreath officiating. Interment followed in the adjoining Cemetery. McRae Funeral Home of Boaz, Alabama is in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Carroll was born in North Carolina on March 1, 1955 to Wayne & Lennie Whitt Carroll. He was the owner of Carroll and Sons Electrical & Plumbing.
Mr. Carroll is survived by his: Wife: Denise Carroll of Boaz, Sons & Daughters-in-Law: Bret & Deana Carroll of Boaz and Ben & Kelley Carroll of Piedmont, Grandchildren: Jalen Carroll and Lleyton Carroll, Step Grandchildren: Micheal Holland, Katy Mae Holland and Alyssa Holland, Mother: Lennie Carroll of Boaz, Sister & Brother-in-Law: Crystal & Phillip Gazaway of Boaz, Mother-in-Law: Hazel Samples of Boaz, Sister-in-Law: Lisa (Marty) Brock of Boaz, Several Nieces and Nephews. Mr. Carroll was preceded in death by his Father: Wayne Carroll and Father-in-Law: I. W. "Bud" Samples.
Pallbearers were Steve Pack, Brian Beard, Pat Mason, Jeremy Owens, Marty Brock, Phillip Gazaway, Warren Gazaway and Kenny Gilbreath. Honorary Pallbearer will be Jalen Carroll.
