Micheal Wooten, 10, of Welcome Home Church Road, Horton, died Friday, May 20, 2016 at his residence. Service will be at Five o'clock p.m. on Thursday, May 26, 2016 at McRae Chapel with Bro. Shannon Pullen, Bro. Mark Eskew officiating with Jonathan Fountaine providing a poem. McRae Funeral Home, Boaz is in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be Wednesday evening from five until 8 at the funeral home. Micheal was born in Alabama on July 11, 2005 to Nathan Wooten and Jennie Crawford. He was a 5th grader at Douglas School. Micheal is survived by his Parents: Jennie & Chris Banks of Horton, Nathan & Morgan Wooten of Scottsboro, Brothers: Hunter Banks and Colton Banks, Sisters: Heather Wooten, Alyssa Bailey and Jamie Banks, Grandparents: Mike & Melodie Parrish of Horton, Cliff Crawford and Brenda Jackson of Albertville, Debbie & Tex Wooten of Grant and Dan & Sylvia Banks of Oregon, Great Grandparents: Pat Crawford of Boaz, Judy Johnson of Boaz and Lamar & Charlotte Hopper of Tennessee, Aunts & Uncles: Michael & Brooke Crawford of Albertville, Pat & Michelle Burkhart of Oregon and Nicole & Gunnar Patterson of Tennessee, Great Aunts and Uncles: Jim & Marie Crawford and Linda Gates.

Honorary Pallbearers will be the Twilight Baseball Teammates and Coaches, Jonathan Fountaine, Hunter Hammons, Timmy Hammons, Taylor Hammons and Tex Wooten.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to the Boaz Rec Center or the Douglas Youth League.
