Maurice Holcomb

Mr. Lonnie Maurice Holcomb, age 73, of Boaz, Alabama, died on Tuesday, May 14, 2024, at his residence.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 17, 2024, at 2 o’clock pm in the McRae Chapel with Bro. Ken Gillilan and Bro. Lynn Sharpton officiating. Interment will follow in Marshall Memorial Gardens. A visitation will be on Thursday evening, May 16, 2024, from 6pm until 8pm at the funeral home.

Mr. Holcomb was born in Alabama on February 6, 1951, to Cecil & Willie Mae Fortson Holcomb. He retired as parts manager for automobile dealerships most recently at Sand Mountain Toyota.

Mr. Holcomb is survived by his Wife: Kathy Holcomb of Boaz, Sons: Jon & Kaitlyn Holcomb of Boaz and Joshua & Brittany Holcomb of Arab, Daughters: Kimberly Holcomb of Rainbow City and Kelly & Jamie Harper of Gadsden, Grandchildren: Maddox Holcomb, Mylie Harper, Brayden Harper, Dakota Elliott and Harrison Jon Holcomb, Brothers: Gerald Holcomb of Boaz and Richard & Annette Holcomb of Albertville, Sister: Glenda & Charles Shields of Boaz and special friends: Mark Brickey and Gary Whitefield.  He was preceded in death by his Parents: Cecil & Willie Mae Holcomb and Sister-in-Law: Janice Holcomb.

Serving as pallbearers will be Tony Holcomb, Jason Holcomb, Barry Holcomb, Drake Holcomb, Hunter Holcomb, and Jamie Harper. Honorary Pallbearers will be the employees of Sand Mountain Toyota.
