Maudell Springfield

Mrs. Maudell Springfield, age 95 of Boaz, Alabama, died on Thursday, January 11, 2024, at her residence.

A funeral service will be held at two o’clock pm, Sunday, January 14, 2024, at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church with Bro. David Martin officiating. Interment will follow in the Hillcrest Cemetery. A visitation will be Sunday, January 15, 2024, from one until service time at the church.

Mrs. Springfield was born in Marshall County, Alabama on April 13, 1928, to Wilbur Iverson & Zora Williams Head. She was a homemaker.

Mrs. Springfield is survived by her Sons: Phillip & Cathy Springfield of Boaz and Dana & Terri Springfield of Boaz, Daughter: Ramona & Omar Davis of Hanceville,

Grandchildren: Dr. Lynn Miller (Katie), Dawn Minton (Andy), Dana Springfield II (Molly), Dina Hays (Jeremy) Matthew Anderson (Kathryn), Great Grandchildren: Deacon Miller, Davis Miller, Shepherd Miller, Jackson Minton, Abby Minton, Alaina Bedard (Andy), Bella Hays, Bryla Hays, and Bruce Anderson, and Laurel Anderson, Great Great Granddaughter: Ava Bedard. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband: Fred Springfield, Brothers: Waylon Head, Marlin Head, Berlin Head and Donald Head, and Sister Gaynell Giddens.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to Shepherd’s Cove Hospice, 408 Martling Road, Albertville, AL 35951.
