Mary Sue Smith

Ms. Mary Sue Smith, age 77, of Boaz, Alabama, died Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at Diversicare of Boaz.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at two o’clock pm at the McRae Funeral Home with Bro. Mickey Perigo officiating. Interment will follow in the Forest Home Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, August 30, 2025, from Noon until service time at the funeral home.

Ms. Smith was born in Alabama on April 8, 1948, to James Henry & Bonnie Rae Sims Lynn. She was a retired nurse having work years in Alabama and Georgia.

Ms. Smith is survived by her Sons: Billy Brown, Jr., Robert Brown, and Tony Smith, Daughters: Donna Harmon and Lea Harmon, Grandchildren: Dusty Adams, Jessica Staples, Crystal Dunn, Samantha Harmon, Jake Carter, Amber Daley, Josh Brown, Elizabeth Smith, Ragaen Ryan and Courtney Arrington, 20 Great Grandchildren, Brother: James Lynn and a Sister: Diane Gores. She was preceded by her parents: James Henry & Bonnie Lynn, Grandsons: Michael Adams and Timothy Harmon, Jr., Granddaughter: Jasmine Smith, Great Grandson: Aydon Sheppard, Great Granddaughter: Caroline Brown and Sister: Brenda Bridges.

Pallbearers will be Robert Brown, Dusty Adams, Tony Smith, Teddy Sims, Eddie Sims, and Thomas Barrese. Honorary Pallbearers will be Blake Clanton, Sean Clanton, Cody Clanton, Case Clanton, and Gary Clanton.
