Marlon Smith

Mr. Marlon L. Smith, age 85, of Richmond Avenue, Boaz, Alabama died on Wednesday, May 27, 2020 at Shepherd’s Cove Hospice.

Graveside service will be held Saturday, May 30, 2020, at 2:00 p.m. in the Union Cemetery with Bro. Wayne White officiating. Visitation will be from 1:30 until service time at the cemetery.

Mr. Smith was born in Alabama on May 31, 1934 to Jess & Effie Thomas Smith. He was a retired Millwright with the Steel Plant.

Mr. Smith is survived by his Granddaughters & Sons-in-Law: Brandee Soeder & Jeremy and Gabrielle McDonnell & Brion, Great Grandchildren: Hannah McDonnell, Bailee Soeder, Dillon Soeder, Carter McDonnell, and Beck McDonnell. He was preceded in death by his Parents: Jess & Effie Smith, Wife: Shirley Smith and Son: Michael Lee Smith.
