Mrs. Marion Genevieve "Jenny" Jenkins, age 87, of Madison, formerly of Boaz, Alabama died Thursday, Nov. 17, 2011, at her residence.
Graveside service was Sunday, Nov. 20, 2011, at 3:00 p.m. at Hillcrest Cemetery, with Bro. Tony Gunter officiating. McRae Funeral Home of Boaz, Alabama is in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Jenkins was born in Georgia on Dec. 7, 1923 to Shemual Preston & Mary Jane Knight Murray. She was retired from Civil Service with US Air Force.
Mr. Jenkins is survived by her: Sons & Daughters-in-Law: E. W. "Zeke" & Barbara Jenkins of Madison and Michael Murray & Paula Jenkins of Georgia, Daughter & Son-in-Law: Jane Faye & Bobby Gilliam of Georgia, Grandchildren: Morrisia, Mary, Laura and Todd, 6 Great Grandchildren. Mrs. Jenkins was preceded in death by her Husband: Wesley Jenkins.
Pallbearers were Terry Smith, Bryan Smith, Tim Smith, Phillip Smith, Paul Waligora and Ricky Cruse.
