Margaret Rowan

Mrs. Margaret Evelyn Rowan, age 84, of Boaz, Alabama died December 15, 2019 at Shepherd's Cove Hospice.

Funeral service will be Two o’clock p.m., Wednesday, December 18, 2019 at McRae Chapel with Bro. Ricky Williams and Bro. Nick Bayne officiating. Interment will follow in the Hillcrest Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until funeral time at the funeral home.

Mrs. Rowan was born in Alabama on June 30, 1935 to General Lee and Gracie Ethel Sweatt Noojin. She was a Homemaker, loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

She is survived by her Husband:  Rev. J. P.  Rowan of Boaz, Son & Daughter-in-Law: Rodney James & Renea Rowan of Guntersville, Daughters & Son-in-Law: Margaret Rebecca Battles of Altoona and Deborah Evelyn & Lynn Bayne of Sardis, 5 Grandchildren:  5 Great Grandchildren, Sisters: Virginia Carr of Attalla, and Ethel Kennedy of Boaz.  She was preceded in death by her parents: General Lee & Gracie Noojin, Brother: Benton Noojin and Sisters: Jeanette Davidson and Geneva Fox.
