Mrs. Margaret Woodham McWhorter, of Corley Ave. Boaz, Alabama, died Wednesday, April 8, 2015, at Marshall Medical Center South.
Service will be Saturday, April 11, 2015; Noon at McRae Chapel Bro. Morris Stephens officiating. Interment will follow in the Douglas Cemetery. McRae Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be Saturday from 10 until funeral time at the funeral home.
Mrs. McWhorter was born in Alabama on Jan. 29, 1928 to Robert L. & Eula Carroll Woodham. She was a clerk for Dobson's Clothing store.
Mrs. McWhorter is survived by her Son & Daughter-in-Law: Charles & Margaret McWhorter of Phenix City, Daughter & Son-in-Law: Deleida & Charlie Johnson of Calera, 5 Grandchildren, 10 Great Grandchildren and 5 Great Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband: J. C. McWhorter.
