Mr. Manuel Baird, age 72, of Boaz died on Saturday, November 4, 2017 at Marshall Medical Center South.
Mr. Baird was born in Alabama on January 21, 1945 to John Hubert & Susie Joe Flectcher Baird.
Memorial service will be 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at McRae Funeral Home Chapel with Jeri Manasco officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at McRae Funeral Home.
Mr. Baird is survived by his Wife: Laura Baird. Son: Manuel Shane Baird of Boaz. Daughter: Laura Shayla Baird of Birmingham. Grandchildren: Joel Morgan Baird, Bailey Baird & Mya Baird. Mother: Susie Jo Baird Cooke of Springville. Brother: Johnny Randall “Heavy” Baird of Springville. Sisters: Wanda Sue Bryant of Hackleburg, Sarah Joanne Stevenson of Oneonta & Connie Lin Baird of Cullman.
Mr. Baird was preceded in death by his Father: John Hubert Baird & Brother: William Rondall “Lick” Baird.
Family has requested flowers or donations to Boy Scouts of America or The Humane Society.
