Louie B. Walls

Mr. Louie Walls, age 58, of Gainesville, Georgia, formerly of Boaz, Alabama passed away on Thursday, November 27, 2025, at his residence.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at Two o’clock pm at the McRae Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Shannon Pullen and Bro. Kenny Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery. The visitation will be on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, from 11:30 am until service time at the funeral home.

Mr. Walls was born in Boaz, Alabama on February 11, 1967, to Samuel L. “Sam” & Hylan Rowan Walls. He was employed by Soulshine Farms in Gainesville, Georgia and had a successful career in the poultry business all over the South. His favorite things were Alabama Football, golfing, and most importantly being Pops to Cason. He was deeply loved by all of his family and friends.

Mr. Walls is survived by Daughter: Jadea & Derek Chandler of Guntersville, Son: Luke & Charisma Cason of Boaz, Grandson: Cason Chandler, Mother: Hylan Rowan Walls, Sisters: Tana Walls, Gina Walls, and Lezlie & Brandon Bruce all of Boaz, Nephews: Teighe Alexander of Boaz and Zach & Caitlyn Alexander of Lemoore, California, Nieces: Macie Springfield of Boaz, Meagan & Jake Bryson, Taylor & Grant Lowman, Tiffani & Blake Dodd all of Huntsville, 10 great nieces and nephews, and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his Father: Samuel “Sam” Walls, and beloved wife: Angie Stoner Walls and mother-in-law: Brenda Stoner.

The pallbearers will be Teighe Alexander, Zach Alexander, Derek Chandler, Josh Rowan, Michael Brand, Drew Hill, Bryan Stancil, and Steve Liverett. Honorary pallbearers will be Cason Chandler, Will Green, Isaac Alexander, Remi Alexander, Heath Gillilan, Chloe Hartley, Tess Smith, Wyley Smith, and the Boaz High School Class of 1985.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to Shepherd’s Cove Hospice to honor the memory of Louie’s beloved wife, Angie.
