Lola Powell Johnson

Mrs. Lola Powell Johnson, age 85 of Boaz, Alabama, died on Thursday, August 31, 2023, at her residence.

A funeral service will be held at three o’clock on Saturday, September 2, 2023, in the McRae Chapel with interment to follow in the Hillcrest Cemetery, with Bro. Harold Brown officiating. A visitation will be on Saturday, September 2, 2023, from 1:00 pm until service time at the funeral home.

Mrs. Johnson was born in Boaz, Alabama on September 5, 1937, to Harvey C. & Grace Givens Powell. She was a retired salesclerk and a homemaker.

Mrs. Johnson is survived by her Daughters: Becky & Steve Carroll and Rhonda Johnson all of Boaz, Grandchildren: Lori Carroll and Jamie & Freida Carroll all of Boaz, Great grandchildren: Cooper Carroll and Clara Carroll. She was preceded in death by her Parents: Harvey & Grace Powell and Husband: Ted G. Johnson

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
