Mrs. Lois Adcock Franklin, 72, of Altoona, died May 29, 2014 at Attalla Health Care.
Services will be Eleven o'clock a.m. Saturday, May 31, 2014 at Fairview FCM Church with Brother Kerry Bryant and Bro. Eric Snead officiating. Interment will follow in Aurora Cemetery. McRae Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be Friday evening 6 - 8 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Franklin was born in Alabama on Aug. 22, 1941 to Jessie Lee and Gladys Marie Kirkland Adcock. She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Franklin is survived by her Husband: Leon Franklin of Altoona, Son & Daughters-in-Law: David & Rhonda Franklin of Altoona and Dianne Franklin of Boaz, Grandchildren: Michael & Emily Franklin, Brandon & Anita Franklin, Bradley & Lyndsey Franklin and Joseph Franklin, 8 Great Grandchildren, Brother: Roy Adcock of Georgia and Sisters: Francis, Juanita, Rosa and Cannie. She was preceded in death by her son: Chris Franklin.
Pallbearers will be Grandsons and Nephews. Honorary Pallbearers will be Billy Don Thrasher and Nephews.
