Mrs. Linda Jones, 74 of Egypt Road, Boaz, died Saturday, December 19, 2015 at her residence. Service will be Tuesday, December 22, 2015; Two o'clock p.m. at McRae Funeral Home Chapel with Father Jose Chacko and Bro. Lee Smith officiating. Interment will follow in the Liberty Hill Cemetery. McRae Funeral Home, Boaz is in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be Monday evening from 6 - 8 at the funeral home. Mrs. Jones was born in Marshall County, Alabama on September 8, 1941 to Leroy & Mabel Irene Winsett Smith. She was a retired nurse. Mrs. Jones is survived by her Sons & Daughters-in-law: Mark & Dorothy Jones of Boaz and Scott & Ann Jones of Albertville, 4 Grandchildren, 9 Great Grandchildren, Brothers: Mack Smith of Boaz and Bobby Smith of Albertville, Sisters: Dolly Cooper of Boaz and Sarah Gaines of Albertville. She was preceded in death by her parents and her Husband: Clyde Edward Jones. Pallbearers will be Gary Lee Smith, Stephen Smith, Phillip Davenport, David Smith, Tom Smith and Fay Smith. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to Genteva Hospice.
