Lillian Johnson Giles

Mrs. Lillian Johnson Giles, age 82 of Boaz, Alabama, died on Thursday, December 19, 2024, in Vestavia Hills. 

Funeral service will be held at Two o’clock pm on Saturday, December 21, 2024, at the McRae Chapel with Bro. David Martin & Bro. David Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Vernon Cemetery. Visitation will be on Saturday from 12:30pm until service time at the funeral home.

 Mrs. Giles was born in Alabama on January 13, 1942, to James & Laura Patterson Johnson. She was a retired teacher’s aide and bus driver.

 Mrs. Giles is survived by her Son & Daughter-in-Law: James & Wendy Giles of Langston. Daughters & Sons-in-Law: Annette & Greg Hardin of Vestavia Hills, Jeanine King of Albertville, and Peggy & Brian Pendergrass of Boaz. Grandchildren: Hillary Key, Zachary Hardin, Brandan Rogers, Andrew Giles, Bradley Giles, Tinzley Wilson, Matt Pendergrass. 17 Great Grandchildren. Brothers: Lowell Johnson of Crossville and David Johnson of Boaz. She was preceded in death by her Parents: James & Laura Johnson and Husband: James Giles. 

The pallbearers will be Andrew Giles, Bradley Giles, Kyle Wilson, Matt Pendergrass, Jeremy Rogers, and Logan Pennington.
