Ms. Laura Jean Gorham, age 59, of Hoover, Alabama died on Tuesday, October 6, 2026.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Two o’clock pm on Saturday, October 24, 2026, at Blountsville Baptist Church with Bro. Randall Edmondson officiating. Visitation will be on Saturday, October 24, 2026, from 1pm until service time at the church.

Ms. Gorham was born in Birmingham, Alabama on August 24, 1967, to Charles Douglas & Sammie Lou Cornelius Gorham.

Ms. Gorham is survived by her: Parents: Charlie & Sammie Gorham of Blountsville, Sister: Carla & Dan Strott of Georgia, Nephew: Ben & Julia Clower of Georgia, Great Nephew: Graham Clower, Aunt: Jackie & Kenneth Shell of Arab and Uncle: Jeff Cornelius of Oneonta. She was preceded in death by her Grandparents: Check & Zelda Gorham and Jack & Laura Lou Cornelius.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to your local humane society or animal shelter or to Samaritan’s Purse’s Operation Christmas Child.
