Keith Dodd

Bro. Keith Dodd, age 96, of Boaz, Alabama died on Thursday, September 24, 2026, at his residence.

A Funeral service will be held at two o’clock pm on Sunday, September 27, 2026, at the McRae Chapel with Bro. Steve Brown, Bro. Joe Teal and Stan Clemons officiating. Interment will follow in the Hillcrest Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday 12:30pm – 2:00pm at the funeral home.

Bro. Dodd was born in Alabama on March 31, 1930, to David Edward & Maude Smith Dodd. He was a retired Chaplain with The United States Army and pastored many Baptist churches in the area.

Bro. Dodd is survived by his Sons & Daughters-in-Law: David & Vicki Dodd of Boaz, Kevin & Chantelle Dodd of Prattville. Daughter & Son-in-Law: Karen & Richard Grissinger of Florida. 5 Grandchildren & 10 Great Grandchildren.

Bro. Dodd was preceded in death by his Parents: David Edward & Maude Dodd. Wife: Iris Dodd. Brothers: Edward Dodd, Wayne Dodd and J.P. Dodd. Sisters: Audrey Bales, Annis Nelson, Eleanor Green, Kathlene Morgan and Iris Steed.

Pallbearers will be Barry Dodd, Jesse Dodd, Michael Dodd, Jason Grissinger, Michael Grissinger.
