Joe Taylor

Mr. Joseph "Joe" Morrell Taylor, age 85, of Boaz, Alabama died November 27, 2019, at Marshall Medical Center South.

Funeral service will be Sunday, December 1, 2019, at Two o'clock p.m.in the McRae Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Shannon Pullen and Bro. Gene Taylor officiating, eulogy provided by his son, Jeff Taylor. Interment will follow in the Hillcrest Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 12:30 pm to until service time.

Mr. Taylor was born in Rockledge, AL on June 26, 1934, to Joe Taylor and Odene Bartlett. He was a Business Owner. He was a Korean War Veteran.

He is survived by: Son: Jeff Taylor, of Oklahoma, Daughter: Melissa Taylor, of  Ohio, 4 Grandchildren: 1 Great Grandson: Brother: Rev, Gene Taylor of Boaz, Step-Sons: Tom Ross, Allen Ross and Terry Ross, Step-Daughter: Ann Baugh. He was preceded in death by Wife: Juanita Maddox Taylor, Parents: Rev. Joe Pat & Odene Taylor, Brothers: Harold Taylor, Wayne Taylor, Eulis Taylor and Hubert Taylor, Sister: Patsy Taylor Phillips.

Pallbearers will be Jeff Taylor, Michael Taylor, Joe Phillips, Jeff Rosenbauer, Darrick Baugh and Cody Alexander. Honorary Pallbearers will be Zachary Koehler, Daniel Koehler, Brandon Taylor and Elliott Taylor.

The family suggests donation to Calvary Baptist Church Building Fund.
