Mr. Joe Horace Simpson, age: 63, of Boaz, died Thursday, June 27, 2013 at Shepherd's Cove.
Service will be Eleven o'clock p.m., Saturday, June 29, 2013 at McRae Chapel with interment to follow in Memory Hill Cemetery. Bro. Shannon Pullen will be officiating. McRae Funeral Home, Boaz is in charges of the arrangements. Visitation will be Friday afternoon 5 - 8 at the funeral home.
Mr. Simpson was born in Alabama on Feb. 1, 1950 to Silvie & Eula Godfrey Simpson. He was active in the automobile business for more than 40 years and was currently the owner of Joe Simpson Motors.
Mr. Simpson is survived by his: Son: Wesley Simpson of Boaz, Daughters: Shalena Simpson of Georgia, Christa Simpson of Boaz, Michelle Kirkland of Albertville and Nichole Berzett of Athens, 11 Grandchildren, Brothers: Claude Simpson and Roger Simpson both of Boaz, Sisters: Melba Costner and Mildred Pack both of Bessemer, Iva Lee Slaton of Boaz, Nelline Sawyers & Susan Kimble both of Bessemer, Special Friend: Sue Harbin of Albertville. Mr. Simpson was preceded in death by his Wife: Myra Simpson.
Pallbearers will be Rusty Lightsey, Mac Lightsey, Brian Anderson, Tim Thomas, Fuzz James, Shannon Simpson, Ricky Jones and Rusty Simpson.
