Mr. Joe R. Rains, Age: 83 of North Main Street, Boaz, died Saturday, Jan. 29, 2011 at his residence.
Graveside services were at 4:00 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 30, 2011, with Bro. Tony Gunter officiating, interment followed in Hillcrest Cemetery. McRae Funeral Home, Boaz, is in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Rains was a retired United States Army Veteran.
Mr. Rains is survived by his Son: Ian Rains of Boaz, Daughter & Son-in-Law: Denise & Johnny Willis of Boaz, 2 Grandchildren, Sisters: Jean Stone of Albertville and Ann Nowakowski of Ohio.
