Jimmy Maddox

Mr. Jimmy Ray Maddox, age 70, of Ft. Payne formerly of Boaz, Alabama died on Saturday, August 11, 2018 at Dekalb Regional Medical Center.

Graveside service will be held at Two o’clock p.m. on Tuesday, August 14, 2018 at Shady Grove Cemetery with Bro. Shannon Pullen officiating. Visitation will be on Monday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Maddox was born in Alabama on September 23, 1947 to Walter Lee & Katie Prue Bryant Maddox. He was retired from the local hospital.

Mr. Maddox is survived by his wife: Janice Maddox of Ft. Payne, Step-Daughter: Tanya Simpson of Ft. Payne, Grandchildren: Alex Riggs, Andrew Riggs, Austin Riggs, William Riggs and Samuel Barr, Step-Grandchildren: Garett Martin and Mathew Martin, Sister: Linda Eubank of Boaz. He was preceded in death by his Daughter: Kristy Maddox, Parents: Walter & Katie Maddox, Brother: Edward Maddox and Sisters: Mary Lee Hill and Frankie Juanita Taylor.

Pallbearers will be family members.
