Jewell P. Larry

Mrs. Jewell P. Larry of Boaz, Alabama departed from this lifetime on Sunday – February 18, 2024, at the age of 95 years. 

Mrs. Larry was a person loved by everyone she met; she taught school in the Sand Mountain area of Marshall County, Alabama. She enjoyed playing the piano and singing in her free time. Mrs. Larry in the earlier years of her life, attended the Shady Grove Methodist Church in Muscle Shoals, Alabama. In her later years, Jewell made the move to Boaz, Alabama where she attended the Whitesville Baptist Church.

Mrs. Larry leaves behind to cherish her legacy; Nephews, Kent Childress, Richard Childress and Tim Parrish and niece; Cathyrn Ams as well as a host of nieces, nephews and friends. 

Mrs. Larry is at last reunited with her beloved husband; Curtis Larry; parents, Elon Wilson Parrish and Reverend W.D. Parrish; sisters, Florine Parrish and Maxine Parrish as well as brother, L.B. Parrish. 

A visitation to honor the life and legacy of Mrs. Larry will be held on Thursday – February 22, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at McRae Funeral Home.

A Graveside Service will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Friday – February 23, 2024, at the Oakwood Cemetery in Sheffield, Alabama.
