Jewel Dean Carroll

Mrs. Jewel Dean Carroll, age 90, of Boaz, died on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at her residence.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 6, 2026, at two o’clock pm in the McRae Chapel with Bro. Shannon Pullen and Bro. Billy Ramsey officiating. Interment will follow in the Union Cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday, February 5, 2026, from 6pm until 8pm at the funeral home.

Mrs. Carroll was born in Gadsden, Alabama on March 29, 1935, to Frank and Beatrice Simpson Tidwell. She was retired from Gold Kist.

Mrs. Carroll is survived by her Son: Billy W. & Tena Carroll of Fyffe, Al, Daughter: Denita Carroll Oliver of Boaz, Grandchildren: Brittney & Adam Hemphill, Colt & Makinzi Oliver, Lucas & Brittany Carroll, Great Grandchildren: Cassie Oliver, Willow Hemphill, Hadley Hemphill, Everly Carroll, Piper Carroll, Izzy Carroll.

She was preceded in death by her Parents: Frank and Beatrice Tidwell Husband: Billy J. “Bill” Carroll, and Son-in-Law: Ronnie Oliver.

Pallbearers will be Colt Oliver, Lucas Carroll, Adam Hemphill, Phil Hudgins, Reggie Culpepper, and Jackie Carroll.
