Mrs. Janie L. Dobbins age 79, of the Aroney Community, died Wednesday, August 31, 2016.
Service will be held Saturday, Sept. 3, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. at McRae Chapel with interment in the Hillcrest Cemetery in Boaz, with Bro. Jackie Whisenant and Bro. Jeff Teele officiating. Family will receive friend the day of the service from 1:00 to 3:00 at the funeral home. McRae Funeral Home is directing.
Mrs. Dobbins was born in Alabama on December 1, 1936 to Perry & Ludicy Jones Stevens. She was a dedicated wife, mother, and homemaker.
Mrs. Dobbins is survived her husband: C. C. Dobbins of Aroney, son & Daughter-in-law: Daryl & Debbie Dobbins of Aroney, Daughters & Son-in-Law: Regina Davidson and Rhonda & Kevin Johnson all of Aroney, 5 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren, Brother & Sister-in-Law: Glen & Rica Stevens of Oklahoma and Sister: Sue Stevens of Boaz.
Pallbearers will be Jesse Brown, Dylan Dobbins, Brad Stevens, Noah Adams, Gavin Simmons and Kaiden Adams.
