April 8, 1931 — May 11, 2013
Mr. James Austin Lightsey, 82 of McVille Road, Boaz, Alabama, died Saturday, May 11, 2013 at his residence.
Service will be held Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at McRae Chapel with interment in Whitesboro Cemetery. Bro. Jackie Gaskin will be officiating. McRae Funeral Home, Boaz is in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 6 - 8.
Mr. Lightsley is survived by his: Son & Daughter-in-Law: Ken & Kathleen Lightsey of California and Charles & Jane Lightsey of Boaz, Daughter: Diane Strickland of Boaz, 6 Grandchildren, 5 Great Grandchildren, Brothers: M. L. Lightsey of Boaz, Lois Lightsey of Whitesboro and Billy Lightsey of Boaz, and Sisters: Faye Gaskin of Attalla and Madgeline Strickland of Smith Institute.
Pallbearers will be Wallace Walker, Rodney Hillbrant, Jimmy Millwee, Anthony Lightsey, Aron Jones and Davy Smith
