Mr. J. B. Jaco, age 92, of Medical Center Parkway, Boaz, died Wednesday, December 14, 2016 at Diversicare's Golden Living of Boaz.
Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 16, 2016 at McRae Chapel with interment in Marshall Memorial Gardens. Bro. Kevin Brooks will be officiating. Family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at funeral home. McRae Funeral Home is directing.
Mr. Jaco was born in Alabama on November 21, 1924 to Cue M. & Florence Brogdon Jaco. He was a pound retired Army Veteran with 27 years of service.
Mr. Jaco is survived his Son: Richard Jaco of Albertville, Daughters: Brenda Temple of Gadsden and Becky Whitt of Boaz, Step-Children: Randy Hamm of Birmingham and Robin Chambers of Huntsville, 10 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his Wives: Doris Jaco and Nell Jaco.
