Mr. Ishmeal W. Plunkett, 98 of County Road 179, Crossville, Alabama, died Thursday, April 11, 2013 at his residence.
Funeral service was held Saturday, April 12, 2013 at two o'clock p.m. at New Home Baptist Church with interment following in the adjoining cemetery. Bro. Roger White, Bro. Billy Floyd and Bro. Carl Long officiated. McRae Funeral Home, Boaz is in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Plunkett is survived by his: Daughters & Sons-in-Law: Janice & Billy Smith of Crossville, Joan & Joe Short of Albertville and Joyce & Donald Gilbert of Kilpatrick, Sons & Daughters-in-Law: Glean & Mary Plunkett, Byron & Loretta Plunkett and Brad & Tilda Plunkett all of Kilpatrick, 17 Grandchildren, 24 Great Grandchildren, Sisters: Blondell Smith of Albertville and Ovell Shaw of Garendale.
Pallbearers were Jason Short, Shane Edmonson, Jarred Plunkett, Bradley Plunkett, Jeremy Short, Scotty Gilbert, John Short, Dusty Plunkett and Joshua Short.
